Woody Harrelson and Zoey Dutch are amazing and if you loved the first one, then you will also love this. The same comedy and the same kind of script.Zombies have evolved since the first part/installment of the movie.Emma stones was a delight to watch.Overall an absorbing movie.
Tallahassee (Harrelson), Columbus (Eisenberg), Wichita (Stone) and Little Rock (Breslin) have settled into a makeshift family dynamic as comfortably as possible, given that they’re under near-constant attack. Tallahassee is the cranky, politically incorrect father figure, Columbus and Wichita are the playful lovebirds and Little Rock is the spunky and rebellious younger sister. Their home is The White House (now surrounded by trash and weeds, as we see in a graphically violent, slo-mo slay fest to the blaring tune of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets”), which they’ve turned into more of a frat house full of sporting equipment, Christmas lights, pop culture paraphernalia and empty beer cans.
10 years after one of the greatest comedic actors of our time was both mistaken for a zombie and shot dead, zombieland double tap delivers an averagely funny but slightly messy experience that feeds off of forced humor and references to the first film. 2009s Zombieland is perhaps one of if not my favorite zombie movies of all time, featuring hilarious performances from the likes of Woody Harrelson and Emma stone, but unfortunately the sequel doesn’t really live up to the hype. It has a lot of laugh out loud moments, but doesn’t manage to capture the essence of what made the first film so great which was the dynamic between such contrasting characters who were completely unfamiliar with one another. Sure they brought back many recognizable features of the original, such as a new version of zombie kill of the week and several reused lines, but it ultimately feels unoriginal compared to its vastly superior predecessor. There were other gaping flaws in the film, for example; right off the bat we are introduced to three new types of zombies who are each given their own introductions. Usually when these things happen in movies they serve a purpose, such as there being a scene later on in the film where the protagonists encounter these specimen, yet two of these three zombies are never again referenced for the rest of the movie. Another issue I had was with the new character Madison.
It was honestly a good movie, It had a little bit of everything honestly and the acting was on point. I’ve waited over 10 years for the sequel and honestly I love the 1st one but I like the 2nd one way better, I was also overly excited that they used the same characters/people from the original movie. It’s a funny action filled movie with great locations in the movie! I highly recommend this movie 10/10. I honestly laughed so much at the minivan part cause I feel Tallahassee’s pain towards that, Not that I have anything against minivans. I hope y’all who watch it enjoy it as well!
Given that this was ten years apart from its predecessor, I feared that this movie would suffer the far-separated comedy sequel curse, but my doubts were quickly shaken. The sequel remains really funny, including the return of the fun narrative cutaways and the, sometimes creative, use of text for the rules of surviving the zombie apocalypse. The returning four main characters remain great. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) are a great odd-couple duo with excellent chemistry. Emma Stone as Wichita continues to do a great job as the one who reacts sarcastically. I love new character Madison (Zoey Deutsch). She is a bimbo/airhead type, but she has a specific quirkiness that makes the character distinctive. She always has the most random lines. The plot itself is a little lightweight; the movie mostly runs on the jokes. Overall, I had a good time with this and recommend it.
This is a sequel for fans of the first 'Zombieland', simple as that. It's not here to try and persuade mainstream critics into actually liking a Horror movie, not to make a statement on society, or give you a glimpse into the director and/or writers' state of mind. It's here to say, "Sorry we kept you all waiting, now let's get back to business!" That business being zombie gore, gross-out gags, cheesy one-liners, and jokes about men who drive minivans. The main four actors give it their all and have fun as they slip back into their beloved roles and some of the new additions are a treat. The only downside is that it's mostly the same old song and dance. Of course, it all depends on whether or not you enjoyed the first movie. If you did, then I'm confident that you'll enjoy this one immensely.
Zombieland double tap is a sequel to the 2009's Zombieland movie which continues with the time lapse of ten years and during which the characters Tallahassee, Columbus, little rock and Wichita becomes closer and feel like a family. They have become so popular with time by hunting varieties of zombies and going through hard times. Now in this part they tried to found a home for themselves by crossing the zombie infected united states. The movie does contain a regular laugh out loud moments with thoroughly entertaining and creative action sequences which makes the movie a interesting thing to watch. The movie did had its impact after watching the movie for sure.
The Movie Zombie land Double tap is a sequel for the zombie-land after a lapse of ten years of time. After a decade of hunting the zombies by Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus and little rock since they met each other. They have had enough time to hone their zombie hunting and killing skills over the years and are now pretty good at it. Not only they have identified different ways to hunt zombies and how to work as a team but also see themselves as family. But familiarity breeds contempt and after spending so much time together, they begin to realize they are not as close knit. This causes problems as the four make their way across a zombie infected united states in search of a place to call home. The film dishes out sufficient humor along with full of zombie violence. the movie Zombie land double tap is worth a watch.
